Born
in 1948 in Madison, Wisconsin, Geoffrey Gempeler attended
Saint Thomas University in St. Paul MN, before graduating
from the University of Wisconsin (Madison). He received
his law degree in 1973 Kansas University. He was an Assistant
Attorney General in the Consumer Frauds and Crimes Division
for the State of Ohio until he relocated to Minnesota
in 1975.
Geoff founded Gempeler Personal Injury Attorneys in 1980
to focus on representing injured individuals. Monitoring
Federal & State Legislation in auto insurance, Geoff was
Vice-Chairman of the American Trial Lawyers Association
(ATLA) No-Fault Committee and served on the Board of Governors
for Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. He has served
on the Board of Directors of the Aquatic Injury Safety

Exchange Group in Birmingham, Alabama, which gathers and
exchanges documents for lawyers in product liability cases.
Geoff was a founding member and first president of the
John E. Simonett Inn of Court, whose goal is the training
of ethical trial lawyers. He speaks at state and national
seminars on trial strategy and, whenever possible, lectures
on trial strategy and how to obtain large verdicts in
smaller cases.
While still a partner in the firm he founded in Minnesota
23 years ago, Geoff relocated to Breckenridge, Colorado
in 2001 and now puts his extensive experience to work
on behalf of the citizens of Colorado.
